For the sake of our children’s future

Why do I write about things like 9/11, JFK, things that many consider to be conspiracy theories?  The reason is simple, I believe that if we leave the official version of events unchallenged the future of our children is at stake.  If any of you are parents, hopefully you can sympathise with me that we want to leave this world fit for our children so they enjoy a good life.

Recent events in world politics give reason to worry.  It’s hard to pinpoint an exact spot when it started but I believe that a defining moment was the assassination of JFK.  John Kennedy was not only the hope for a better and more peaceful world for Americans, but the hope of every peace loving person in the world.   His assassination marked the point where this hope was being killed off in the most outrageous and insidious way.  With the assassination the day was saved for the warmongering elite, whose coffers filled with huge profits from the exploits of the continued wars at the cost of thousands of soldiers and innocent lives.

In 1976 the United States House of Representatives Select Committee on Assassinations (HSCA) began an investigation on both John F. Kennedy and Martin Luther’s King’s Jr.  In 1979 the Congress published a single report and twelve volumes of appendices on each assassination and ruled in the case of JFK that the HSCA found that there was a “probable conspiracy”.   In spite of this official conclusion most people are unaware of this.

The same is true of the outcome of  a civil trial on the 8th of December, 1999 in Memphis, Tennesse, where after four weeks of testimony and over 70 witnesses the twelve jurors reached an unanimous verdict that Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr, was assassinated as a result of a conspiracy.  Most people haven’t heard of it.

The question we all have to ask ourselves is, why?  Why didn’t these important events make the headlines in the media.

The answer is simple but many don’t want to hear it.  The media is in cahoots with the same forces who all these years misled us about event after event.

Sometimes the truth comes out like with the Iraq war which was based on Saddam hiding weapons of mass destruction.  He never had any but by the time we found out many thousand innocent people were killed, tortured and imprisoned.  Many other lies however never get exposed even if they are as outrageous as making us belief that a fire can cause a steel high-rise to collapse although it is obvious to anybody who has seen the building collapse that the Salomon Building (WT7) fell in free-fall and therefore was clearly a controlled demolition.  Ask people about it and it is surprising how many people haven’t even heard about that building and only remember the two twin towers.  This is the power of the media by bombarding us with what they want us to see and ignoring to show what they don’t want us to see.  Whenever 9/11 is mentioned in the Media WT7 is as good as never mentioned.  Even the official 9/11 report ignored it completely.

All this doesn’t speak well neither for the American press nor the British or the World press in general.

There are many journalists who still do good work but they have become rare.  So many who work for the Media these days make themselves a cosy job, receiving their info from government press people and passing it straight on to the public in unchallenged form.  If it is challenged, it is strictly within political correct terms and in a form that doesn’t challenge the official version of events.

There have been exceptions to this like a BBC Special that exposed the Al Quaeda myth.   In 2004 the BBC aired a series called “The Power of Nightmares” subtitled “The Rise of the Politics of Fear” which documents the rise of Neo-Conservatives movement in the United States and the radical Islamist movements in the Middle East.   However these exceptions are rare.

I do worry about our children’s future because if we don’t stand up and demand from the media to stop feeding the propaganda machine and instead to remember its responsibility to the viewers to inform us about world events in a truthfully manner.   The media, if it works well, free and democratic, is a check on our governments to ensure that democracy will prevail.  A bought media however will lead us into a totalitarian society where everybody is afraid to exercise their human rights of free speech to speak out against injustice out of fear of reprisal.  With the patriot act this fear has become real as some already have tasted like Susan Lindaur, a CIA asset, who was locked up for five years so she wouldn’t expose the government for its lies and thus endanger the re-election of George Bush.

If we want our children  and children’s children to live in freedom and democracy we need to make a stand against the corruption of our media and governments.
