Who was Jesus?

After watching some religious garbage from people who ‘know’ Jesus I felt preachy. Oh yeah, I once stood on a pulpit and spouted the same rubbish millions of people listen to today in their churches.  These people who claim to ‘know Jesus’ have not the faintest idea who he really was. If Jesus really could hear them today, he would have a laughing fit and if he really was that person the bible speaks about he would be outraged by those lying snakes and brood of vipers.

Virtual sermon on the mount.

There are millions of people in this world who claim to know Jesus.  They meet in houses they name beautifully “House of God” or “The Lord’s Dwelling”.   Their pastors shout from the pulpits messages claiming they are inspired by the the ‘Holy Spirit’ and from TVs prophesies are sprouted by self appointed prophets who claim to have seen or heard Jesus personally.   This is what Jesus will say to them:

Who are you?

Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only he who does the will of my Father who is in heaven. Many will say to me on that day, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and in your name drive out demons and perform many miracles?’ Then I will tell them plainly, ‘I never knew you. Away from me, you evildoers!’

There are millions of people in this world who are going straight to hell and are not knowing it.  They believe they are good people who think they go to heaven because they follow their pastor, go to church every Sunday and support the ministry. Yet they are lazy people of whom Jesus says:

I know your deeds; you have a reputation of being alive, but you are dead. Wake up! Strengthen what remains and is about to die, for I have not found your deeds complete in the sight of my God. Remember, therefore, what you have received and heard; obey it, and repent. But if you do not wake up, I will come like a thief, and you will not know at what time I will come to you.

Then there are the ones who measure their godliness by how much wealth they make.  They think God prospers them because they give their tithes and offerings to their ministers.  They are deceived in thinking that the wealth they created has been given to them by God.  They have stolen it through a doctrine of deceit because they have no understanding of spiritual principles.  They are thieves of the night who dream about daylight. They are on fire when it comes to bless success but cold-blooded when it comes to giving to the needy.  They don’t know how to give because for them it is all about sowing seeds and expecting a return.  They don’t really care for those in their trust, they just exploit them to enrich themselves. To them Jesus says:

I know your deeds, that you are neither cold nor hot. I wish you were either one or the other! So, because you are lukewarm—neither hot nor cold—I am about to spit you out of my mouth. You say, ‘I am rich; I have acquired wealth and do not need a thing.’ But you do not realize that you are wretched, pitiful, poor, blind and naked.

If you want to know about Jesus, you won’t learn it in the modern churches, nor in the churches of old.  Jesus does not live in houses build of bricks and mortar, he lives where he is invited in your heart.  If you want to know about Jesus you don’t learn about him in old books full of dust or from old fashioned preachings but by searching him dilligently and never giving up.

Jesus is the air you breathe and the food you eat, the thirst quenching drink and the comforting word of your dearest friend. He’s the love you show in the deeds you do and through which you know Him, and He knows you.  He is in  all of those who love with a pure heart, who give unconditionally not seeking a reward. Who give from themselves not because they have to, but because it’s the only thing that makes this world a comely place to be.

I’m not a Christian, but I love this man who changes this world into a better place.  He was a real man, a king and a lover and I know him more than any of you.  He truly saved my soul though I don’t believe in salvation as Christians do for His salvation is nothing like what has been pandered in churches all these ages.

All men are liars, all of them, those in government, the religious men, the so called ‘holy’ men, all of them, liars. And those in power of the minds of people – blind guides are they who lead the blind – leading them straight into the abyss of darkness from which there is no coming back.  Talking of salvation the preachers are the venom of this earth.  Their words digests the bones of wayward men and women from the inside until eaten alive they collapse into empty shells of former selves.

If you want to know the truth you won’t find it on the lips of men.  If you want to know the truth you have to desire it as the most costly thing on earth.  More valuable than diamonds, rubies, gold and platinum or in modern terms, more important than fashion shows, the big brother house, your favourite soaps, pop and movie stars.

Unless you price truth above everything you won’t find it.  The truth is not to be taken lightly but to be treasured with great affection. God is Truth, and by searching for truth with all your heart, all your soul, all your mind and all your strength you will find God, the only true God, God who will answer all your questions.

Will you find the true and loving God? – With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.

Jesus said to them, “Truly I tell you, at the renewal of all things, when the Son of Man sits on his glorious throne, you who have followed me will also sit on twelve thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel. And everyone who has left houses or brothers or sisters or father or mother or wife or children or fields for my sake will receive a hundred times as much and will inherit eternal life.  But many who are first will be last, and many who are last will be first.
